This Privacy Policy explains what information Maargamitra (“we”, “us”) collects through maargamitra.in, and how we use it. Maargamitra helps JEE aspirants compare undergraduate research-focused programmes in India using publicly available admission-rank and institute research-profile data.
Maargamitra Does Not Require an Account
There is no sign-up, login, or user account on Maargamitra. You can use the rank finder, hidden-gems list, comparison tool, and full data browser without providing any personal information.
Information We Collect

We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not run any third-party analytics or advertising on the site.
Third-Party Services
Page headings and body text are set in the Spectral and Lora typefaces, loaded from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google’s servers means Google receives the same standard request information (IP address, browser) any font or image host would, independent of anything Maargamitra does with it.
The Programme Data We Publish
The admission-rank and research-profile data shown on Maargamitra describes academic programmes and institutes, compiled from official public sources (JEE closing-rank data, institute-published curricula and faculty information). It is not personal data about site visitors.
Children’s Privacy
Maargamitra is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
